Peterborough Towing is strictly a referral and marketing website for towing and roadside assistance in the Peterborough, Ontario area. Peterborough Towing does not own or operate tow trucks and does not itself perform towing, roadside assistance, or vehicle recovery of any kind.
When you call the number listed on this Site or submit the contact form, your request is referred to Legend Towing, an independent, third-party towing operator, who carries out the actual work. Legend Towing — not Peterborough Towing — is the company you are dealing with once a tow truck is dispatched, and Legend Towing is responsible for all aspects of the service performed, including its safety, quality, pricing at the time of service, and outcome.
We advertise 24/7 availability and aim to provide a quick response; however, actual response and arrival times depend on factors outside our control, including your location, traffic, weather conditions, and current call volume. We do not guarantee a specific response time, and any time estimate given by phone or on the Site is an estimate only, not a binding commitment.
Pricing information on this Site is provided for general reference only and is not a quote or invoice. Final pricing for any towing or roadside assistance service is determined by the service provider dispatched to assist you (e.g., Legend Towing) at the time of service, based on factors such as vehicle type, distance, time of day, and the nature of the service required. Confirm pricing directly with the technician or dispatcher before service begins.
Because Peterborough Towing does not perform any towing or roadside assistance work, Peterborough Towing, its owners, operators, and affiliates assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any damage to your vehicle or other property, personal injury, delay, loss, or any other harm arising out of or related to a towing or roadside assistance service referred through this Site.
Legend Towing is the company that actually performs all towing and roadside assistance work referred through this Site, and Legend Towing bears sole and full responsibility for that work, including any damage, injury, loss, or other liability that results from it. Any complaint, claim, or dispute about the quality, performance, safety, or outcome of a towing or roadside assistance service — including damage to a vehicle or property — must be directed to Legend Towing, not to Peterborough Towing.
